Summer Programs Update

Dear Players and Parents,

Due to the recent announcement of the Coronavirus Covid 19 pandemic, we are informing all current and future clients that at this moment all summer programs are scheduled as planned with the same dates that we originally have in our annual calendar of events. 

We are also following the situation with recent unfortunate events and we are informing our clients that in the area where our academy is located there are no registered cases of Coronavirus Covid 19 but, as a responsible company, on March 13th, we applied the recommendation of the Spanish government to temporarily suspend our sports activities keeping the health of our players, coaches and staff members, as always, on the top of our priorities. As soon the World Health Organization announces that world pandemic is over and as soon the Spanish government declares that it is safe to continue with sports activities, we will make a new official statement regarding our annual activity calendar that we hope will stay unchanged.

We, all staff members at Europe Basketball Academy that stayed in Spain during this outbreak, are witnessing every day that Spanish government and institutions are doing everything keeping in mind the best interest of every citizen in Spain and that Spanish doctors and hospitals are doing their best (by providing face shield with glasses whenever they can) to put this virus under control which we hope will happen in a very near future, as all the citizens in Spain are currently following the self-isolation protocol that is recommended to follow so to stop the virus from spreading.

Regarding our side, Europe Basketball Academy is ready to continue with all scheduled programs using our full resources as soon the situation is back to normal but are also asking from all players and their parents for understanding and patience until the summer comes closer so we may see what is the new recommendation regarding sports activities that Spanish government will give us and will the World Health Organization announce that world pandemic is over. We are assuring all players and parents that, before we start with basketball activities, we will always keep the health of our players, coaches and staff members as our biggest priority and that in case there are no possibility summer programs to be organized as we planned, we will offer to all registered players several options how we could resolve this unfortunate situation, situation where neither players and parents are responsible for and where also Europe Basketball Academy isn’t responsible for. 

We will stay available for communication to all parents and players during this entire period through our landline and mobile numbers, emails and all official profiles on social networks and at the end of April we will give the new official statement regarding this situation.
