We are excited to announce the One-Way and Stay Pro: Cyprus Tour 2025, a 7-day elite-level professional basketball showcase hosted in Cyprus from August 29 to September 4, 2025. This is an invitation-only event designed for select former Europe Basketball Academy players who stood out during the Pro Placement Program — players like you.
Why This Tour Matters
This is more than just a trial. Over the course of 7 days, you’ll play 5 official games against 1st and 2nd Division professional teams in Cyprus. These games are attended by club coaches and decision-makers actively recruiting for the 2025–2026 season.
The goal is clear: not just to showcase your ability — but to help you sign and stay. Based on past results, most selected players continue with a professional team immediately after the tour.
Why Cyprus — Not Spain
We chose Cyprus for one reason: it works. While Spain is a well-known basketball market, it often falls short in consistency and professionalism — especially in lower divisions.
Cypriot clubs are known for:
- Higher and more consistent salary offers
- Reliable, on-time payments
- Professional, stable playing environments
Typical Monthly Salaries in Cyprus:
- 1st Division (Division A): €1,000 – €3,000 + meals & accommodation
- 2nd Division (Division B): €800 – €1,200 + meals & accommodation
In comparison, many clubs in Spain’s EBA or LEB Silver divisions provide lower and more unstable compensation, with delayed payments and no support for housing or meals.
